The Astrolabe and Horologium at MyAstrolabe are fantastic opportunities to enhance awareness and mindfulness on ourselves and our place in the universe. Such knowledge and presence will become ever more import in the creation of an environmental sound and balanced world. It connects to eons of age where man has connected to the cosmic environment.

This blog intends to further such knowledge and awareness by discussing theoretical as well as practical matters related to the Astrolabe and Horologium

Yes, you are right! But this is a compromise! To be completely correct hours should be 1-12 as it is from N to S and then 1-12 from S to North. Instead from N to S it is written as 13-24 as is often used for time in Europe. If you choose Horologium you will get the projection as in Prague.

The sidereal time should be read from the south meridian, it presently shows an error of 12 hours. Also could we have the option to change the projection direction from north to south as it would then be like the Prague astronomical clock.
